Getting Started:

Welcome to Inhost's Power Affiliate Program. The following FAQ's will help you to understand how the program works. At the bottom just click on the Affiliate Program Registration form. Once registered, you will receive a confirmation email from us that will contain a link to the Affiliate Program page that contains all the Inhost banners and buttons.

Q How does Inhost's Power Affiliate Program work?

A Refer customers to Inhost using a special link provided to you and get paid a generous commission when anyone signs up using that approved special link.

Power Affiliates earn 20% of all hosting plan revenue for the life of their referred accounts. This can be a tremendous source of income for web developers, Internet entrepreneurs and anyone interested in building a substantial revenue stream.

Q How do I get paid?

A Power Affiliates earn twenty percent of any plan referred through your link(s) for the LIFETIME of that account. This means that as long as the customer is hosting with Inhost you receive a commission! For example, if you refer a "Píca" monthly hosting account, you will receive $3.00/month for as long as that customer stays on the network! This is calculated as: $15.00/month divided by 20%. Every month an amount equal to your commission percentage of all active accounts will be deposited in your account. The more accounts you sign up the greater monthly residual commission your will receive!

Q What are my responsibilities as a partner?

A Your sole responsibility is to sell, Inhost will take care of the rest. We are responsible for billing, maintaining and supporting each and every client you refer for us. THIS IS A TEAM EFFORT! IN ORDER TO MAINATIN LIFETIME RESIDUAL STATUS INHOST POWER AFFILIATE PARTNERS MUST GENERATE SIX NEW INHOST ACCOUNTS EACH YEAR.

Q When do I receive my commission checks?

A Power Affiliates are paid monthly. If on the first of every month that your account has a balance of at least $25 or more, a check will be issued for the full dollar amount on your account. On any month in which your account does not total $25 or more the balance will be carried forward to the following month.

Q How do I set up links at my site?

A Once your application has been approved, you will receive a confirmation e-mail with login information to access the affiliate login page located at affiliates.inhost.com. From there you must first login to your admin area using your assigned password and email address as your username. Then pick the banner (s) that you want to use. Next you will copy the HTML code of the selected banner (s) from the "Generated HTML Code" window and paste it in your site where you want the banner/link to appear. This is done in seconds and you do not have to be a programming guru to do it!

Q How do I keep track of commissions?

A You can keep track of your commissions through the "Reports" section in your affiliate account. The "Reports" include commission information for your site. You can sort this information by merchant, product, date range, etc... to help you determine your most profitable and effective marketing strategy.

Q How do I know how well my site is performing?

A You can measure your site's performance through the various reports in the "Reports" section. These reports provide you with information on site performance statistics including impressions, click-throughs and click-to-order ratios. These reporting tools will take the guesswork out of your affiliate strategy!

Q Can I receive a commission on products I order?

A Yes, as long as the order is placed from one of your approved links this will count as commissionable!

Q How do you track my referrals?

A We use cookies to track your sales and referrals. Specifically, your ID in the HTML code on your banner is used during the sales order process and is the only way we can track purchases. Each cookie is kept active for 72 hours. This means that if someone clicks on your banner but buys in 72 hours or less you STILL receive commission for that sale! Your opportunity to generate a sale is not limited to the intial "browser session" like most other affiliate programs.

Q How much does it cost to join?

A There is no cost to participate. We are however only looking for affiliates who are interested in taking this program seriously and making money. We invest a lot of time and energy daily supporting all our affiliates.

Q Who do I contact if one of your links is broken?

A Since technical difficulties do occasionally arise, if you encounter a banner or text link that is broken, please notify us at affiliate_support@inhost.com.
